What Causes Fibroids?

Research is still ongoing, but some experts suggest that excess estrogen (especially for girls and women aged 16 to 50) may be the culprit.

Research also suggests that women who have diets high in red meat, high-cholesterol foods, and alcohol may be at a higher risk of developing fibroids.

Berries

As mentioned earlier, berries are packed with antioxidants due to their flavonoid content. However, berries (blueberries, mulberries, raspberries, grapes) are also packed with resveratrol, which are responsible for reducing the expression of proteins responsible for the growth of fibroids
