The slime contains mucilage, which:
• Binds to water in the intestinal tract, adding bulk and easing diarrhea • Coats the intestinal lining, reducing irritation and creating a protective barrier against further inflammation • Feeds beneficial gut bacteria, supporting microbial balance that regulates digestion • Absorbs excess bile acids in the colon, which ensures healthy stool • Stabilizes blood sugar
